Julian Wright è un'ala grande/centro statunitense. Ha giocato a livello universitario con l'Università di Kansas. Durante la sua esperienza ai Kansas Jayhawks, risultava già evidente il suo superiore atletismo, che gli è valsa la 13esima chiamata assoluta nell'NBA Draft 2007 dai New Orleans Hornets. Nel 2012, dopo ben 231 gare giocate in NBA, lascia gli Stati Uniti e approda in diverse squadre europee, tra cui Brnei Herzelyia e Panathinaikos. Nel 2014/2015, il cammino di Wright si ferma a Trento, dove firma con la Dolomiti Energia Trentino.
Julian Wright is an American power forward/centre. He played collegiately for the University of Kansas. In his spell at Kansas Jayhawks, he was praised for his superior athleticism and his ability to help his team. He was selected as the 13th overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets. On August 2010, Wright was traded to the Toronto Raptors for Marco Belinelli. He left USA in 2012 after playing 231 games in th NBA, and he later played for many European teams, such as Panathinaikos and Brnei Herzlyia. For the 2014/2015, Wright joined Dolomiti Energia Trentino.
